We are a small team within Haemostasis Research at the University Hospital and University of Bern, but we are one of the internationally renowned and leading research groups in the field of blood coagulation factor XIII, and we have a longstanding record of successful research projects funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation.
We are looking for a Scientist with PhD with enthusiasm for research and an interest in
blood coagulation.
Project:
For our latest research project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation, several
variants of coagulation factor XIII shall be expressed in cell culture, purified and studied
functionally.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a PhD in natural/life sciences and a sound experience in molecular
biology techniques, bacterial and cell culture, protein expression, and protein purification. We expect candidates to work in a clean, precise and well-organised manner.

Salary according to the Swiss National Science Foundation, responsibility in a small team, the possibility to publish and attend international conferences.
